Why we built Khel Ghar
Every parent in Kataka knows the problem. Children need to move, climb and burn energy every single day, but between the heat, the monsoon and busy roads, safe places to play indoors are hard to find.
Khel Ghar, which simply means “play house”, is our answer. It is a bright, padded, supervised play zone in Mahanadi Vihar where kids can be kids, and parents can relax knowing the space was designed with safety and hygiene first.
Six zones cover every kind of play: big slides and structures for the adventurous, a giant ball pit for everyone, climbing walls for the brave, a soft corner for toddlers, ride-ons for little drivers and a creative zone for quiet builders. And when there is something to celebrate, the whole place turns into a party.

How we keep every visit safe and clean
These are the standards we follow on the floor every day. Ask our staff anything you like when you visit.
Padded everywhere
Floors, walls, steps and edges are covered in thick foam padding so tumbles end in giggles, not tears.
Netted structures
Every level of the play structure is enclosed with strong safety netting. Kids climb high, but they cannot fall out.
Cleaned on a schedule
Mats, equipment and every ball in the pit are cleaned and sanitised on a fixed daily schedule, with deep cleaning at regular intervals.
Staff on the floor
Trained staff supervise the play area at all times, help little ones on the equipment and keep the zones running smoothly.
Age-appropriate zones
Toddlers have their own gentle soft play corner, away from the bigger kids' slides and climbing walls.
Socks-only policy
Shoes stay outside. Socks keep the play area hygienic and give kids better grip on the equipment.

A few simple rules that keep everyone smiling
We keep the rules short and friendly. They exist so every child can play safely and every parent can relax.

Socks are compulsory for everyone entering the play area.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the premises at all times.

Follow the age guidance for each zone; toddlers use the soft play corner.

No shoes, food, drinks or sharp objects inside the play zones.

Please do not visit if your child is unwell, so every child stays healthy.

Be kind: no pushing, climbing up slides or rough play.

Staff instructions are there to keep everyone safe. Please follow them.
